The type of oak tree that is planted is called a Coccinea
(Scarlet Oak). ‘The tree will grow up to 50 feet, usually less.
Members of the Committee were unable to come to a concensus on
what to do with the tree. Due to the fact that this is a new
Subdivision, the Committee felt Strongly that council should make
the decision in view of the extensive number of planted islands
which exist and similar requests may come up in the future.
