but it shall not accept any tender unless the tendered cost is
equal to or less than the estimated cost for the tendered equip-
ment as set out in Schedule "C" hereto, .

Se ~GVRD will obtain all available Warranties for the Parti-~
Cipating Municipality's Equipment and shall deliver all documenta-
tion relating thereto to the Participating Municipality at the
Same time as the Participating Municipality's Equipment is deli-
vered by GVRD to the Participating Municipality. :

6. The Participating Municipality at its own cost will be
responsible for the installation of the Participating Municipal-
ity's Equipment and without limiting the generality of the fore~
going, all antennas will be installed pursuant to the Specifica-
tions set out in Schedule "p" hereto, ce
Te, GVRD will inspect the installation of the Participating
Municipality's Equipment within 30 days of the installation there-
of and will issue an installation inspection certificate to the
Participating Municipality if it has been installed in a manner
Satisfactory to GVRD. If the GVRD inspection reveals that the
Participating Municipality's Equipment has not been installed in a
manner satisfactory to GVRD, the Participating Municipality shall
at its cost do all such things as may be necessary or desirable to
rectify the installation of the Particip..ting Municiaplity's
Equipment. GVRD assumes no obligation or liability as a resuit of
its inspection or the issuance by it of an inspection certificate

8. After GVRD takes possession of the portable radios it
will deliver six nertable radios each to the four host munici-
palities set out in column 2 Of Schedule "D" for the uSe of the
municipalities set out in column 1 of Schedule "D" hereto and the
host municipality. If the Participating Municipality is one of.
the host municipalities set out in column 2 it shall maintain the
portable radios in accordance with the maintenance schedule se
out in Schedule "EB" hereto and the cost thereof shall be divided
equally between the user Municipalities and the host municipality.
Tf the Participating Municipality is one of the user municipali-
ties set out in column 1 of Schedule "D" hereto it hereby agrees
that it shall pay its Equal Share of the costs of the maintenance
of the portable radios to the appropriate host municipality. |

9. =. Tk is the intent of this agreement and the other agree-
ments similar in form and content to this agreement that GVRD will»
be entering into with other of its member municipalities partici-
pating in the regional emergency communication system that the
portable: radios be delivered by a host municipality upon request

to any other participating municipality within its zone as set out:
in column 1 of Schedule "D" that requires their use during an
