EDITOR a This month I am delighted to welcome a gueat ecartooniat to these pages. It has been quite frustrating to visualize Ethel's piquant observations but be unable to cartoon them; however Dorothy has that apectal ability and my ghastly efforta can be decently retired --- We now have the real MeCoy! Carol Bullen ts leaving toum for a while and her most appealing ad for a pereon to replace her as Guild eeeretary recalled to mind how I ended up with thie job. It waa the firet Gutid meeting I'd been able to attend and Georgina was busily nominating people for posttions. No bodies were forthcoming for ‘Newsletter Editor’ and ae the meeting wae ending, Georgina‘s sincere distress prompted myself and Linda to offer to'help' whoever would be Editor. My firet suepietous quaims arose ae Georgina gently amiled and vigorowely wrote our names on the board with an atr of quiet accomplishment. In my inmoeence I was unaware that Georgina applies the same tecimiques to filling volunteer positione ae she does to making her garden grow! Those roses are going to bioem magnifieently whatever happene and as my hysterical panic substdes for another month I have to admit that I enjoy playing Editor! Thankyou Georgina for planting that particular seed! Angela. MARCH 1982 ISSN 0819 14x Publiehed by: The Potters’ Guild of Britten Colwnbta, 3ii West Cordova Street, Vancouver, &.C., V6B IES.
