Thornhill Junior Secondary ¢x-
plored career options last week.

Police officers,; an architect,
chef, veterinarian and a wide va--
riety of professionals spoke about
the pros and cons of their careers.
Students leamed what type of ed-
ucation a specific career requires
and what skills are needed.

Grade eight student Erin Sand-
hals sat in on a discussion by a
chef,

“T liked the food demonstra-
tion,”’ she said. ‘He can make
food decorations out of scraps.”’

Jamie Kilgren, a grade nine stu-
dent in an adjusted graduation
program, took part in the discus-
sion by a Fianing representative.
