RECOMMENDATION:

‘That Council approve an extension of Rezoning Application 21/93 and Development Permit
Application 22/93 for a period of one year, commencing November 16, 1994, subject to payment
of a non-refundable processing fee of $2,075.00 as per the provisions of the "Development
Procedures, Bylaw 1987 No. 2243",

BACKGROUND:

The subject Rezoning and Development Permit Applicaton is for the construction of a 23
rea VI -

unit apartment building in Development Permit "Downtown", City Council gave
Third Reading to Amendment Bylaw No. 2843 on November 15, 1993 and gave authorization
for the preparation of Development Permit 22/93 on June 14, 1993.

The applicant has submitted the attached letter requesting an extension of the applications
until November 15, 1995 due to current unfavourable market conditions, and to permit time for
the owner to make necessary financial agreements.
