A regutar meeting of the Municipal Council! of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was hetd in the Counci| Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall on Monday, April 21st, 1986 at 7:30 pom.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D.
Gates, Jed. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in
attendance.

Also in attendance were Acting City Administrator and City Engineer
F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Clerk R.A. Freeman and Director of Community
Planning W.A. Brown.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay Introduced John Szattocsky,
Equipment Operator, and then presented him with a City Service Pin in
recognition of his 25 years with the City.

That the minutes of the Regular Council! Meeting held on April 7th,
1986, be taken as read and adopted.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay advised Ms. L. Deforest, George
Pearkes Jr. Secondary School made a request to address Council regarding
Funding for Odyssey of the Mind Competition.

Moved by Alderman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Farnworth:

That Item 20 on the Agenda being Ms. L. Deforest, George Pearkes Jr.
Secondary School, April 14th, 1986 regarding Funding for Odyssey of the
Mind Competition be permitted to address Counct! at this time.

Carried.

That the request for funding from George Pearkes Jr. Secondary School
for the Odyssey of the Mind Competition be dented.

Carried.
