This one-day course will provide an intro-
duction to the effects of the changes brought
about by the enactment of Bill 62, being the
Municipal Amendment Act, 1985. These
revisions represent the first major changes
to land use legislation in B.C. since the
1940's.

The course will address the new legislation
from the perspective of planners, municipal
Officers, lawyers and developers. It is intended
for practitioners in local government and
the private sector who will be working within
the parameters set by the new land use
jegislation.

You may register in person at the USC Centre
for Continuing Education, or mail the registra-
tion form in this brochure svith your cheque to
Planning Programs at the address below.

We must receive your cheque no later than
two weeks before the date of the course. Fees
will be refunded automatically if a program is
cancelled. If you withdraw from a course and
notify us at least two weeks before the start-
ing date, your fee will be refunded less a $25
administration charge.

Please note: Tuition fees may quality as an
income tax deduction provided the total of
fees paid to UBC (over one income tax year)
exceeds $100.
