Dear Sirs: AS yOu are probably aware, many of the residents of the Mary Hill area are plagued with a serious noise and Traffic cangestion problem due to the presence of dirt bike riders. in the area commonly referred to as, "The Pits". Although, we as a neighborhood, have had some measure of success in turning these vehicles away lately, we have had to call for your assistance many, many times in the last several months. We realize and appreciate that there can be a variety of problems associated with responding to such calls ina timely fashion. This letter. is simply intended firstly, to thank you sincerely for the many times you have been able to respond and to say that your repeated visits to the area have had a very noticeable effect on the number of irritating incidents so far this summer, compared to last year. Secondly, I wanted to make you aware of the plans now in progress to approach City Council with a petition and a number of suggestions that we hope will help to alleviate the problem, and make our lives a little quieter, and hopefully, your jobs a little less hectic. Our meeting with Council is tentatively scheduled for duly 9, 1984, and so presumably, things should get better following our discussions. Once again, our sincere thanks for all your efforts on our behalf, and I trust we shall not have to call upon you too often in the future. Yours very sincerely, Keith J. Williams 1325 Western Place =)
