SUBJECT: Resolution concerning Death Penalty

Council members will recall that at the regular Council meeting held on October
4th, 1982 Alderman Gates advised that he would be presenting a resolution
concerning the re-institution of the Death Penalty by the Federal Government.

Alderman Gates advises that he has prepared this resolution and will he

distributing it to Council members on Friday afternoon, October 15th, 1982
for consideration at the Council meeting on Monday, October. 18th.
