PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE

Re Zoning Bylaw No. 1498, 1977,

Attached are the memorandum of the City Clerk and the correspondence of the
Department of Municipal Affairs in connection with the status of the new Port
Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw.

This matter was dealt with by the Planning and Zoning Committee on March 15th, 1977
and the Committee recommends that Council provide commitment to the Department of
Municipal Affairs that the Flood Plain restrictions as recommended by the Water
Resources Service, will be included in the new Zoning Bylaw in the form of a
subsequent zoning amendment after the Bylaw has been approved by the Department of
Municipal Affairs and finally adopted by Council.
