The Mount Elizabeth High School Rowdies of Kitimat posted two wins in the three-team northwest zone senior boys soccer finals at Terrace and gained the right to repre- sent this area at the B.C. School Championships starting Nov. 13 at Van- couver. All the games were played at Terrace due to travel convenience. Rowdies win two in three-team soccer . The opening round- robin contest saw Terrace Caledonia and Prince Rupert play to a scoreless draw in regulation time. After two overtime periods it was still tied, so they went into a shootout. In the free kick session, Terrace outscored Rupert 3-1 on goals by Brian Mc- Connell, Chris Hallsor and Steve Dewacht. The game goes into zone records as a 1-0 win for Terrace. .y Game two saw Terrace lose a tough 2-1 decision to Kitimat, who ran up a 2-0 lead in the first half. Brent Nicolson finally put Cal on the board, but it was too little too late. Kitimat clinched the ti- tle in the third game with a 2-0 victory over Prince Rupert. . Magazine. She received her photographic training from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and has been involved in the profession since 1974, She has owned and operated a photo studio in Prince Rupert since 1984 and enjoy’s travelling and photographing the north coast. This exhibit will travel to various com- munities in the northwest. Kimmett’s work is on display at the Terrace Art Gallery in the Library basement until Thursday, November 27, sale ROE Terrace — Caledonia Secondary School in Terrace recently underwent an approximate five week ranavation project. The repairs include extra Insulation and also raplacing the siding to concrete blocks and metal cladding. In charge of the project is Wirtl Construction, a local company.
