For the past faw months the Agricultural Land Comvaisaion has been considering
the development of a policy concerning the retall sales of agricultural products
in the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR).

Ae with eur recent circulations in the case of Bed and Breakfast wees, and Home
Occupation uses in the Reserve, tha Commission 4a forwarding to you 4 draft of
its propoged policy in the form of a discuseion paper. The discussion paper
attempts to outline the propesead policy and to provide some background to ite
davelopmant and clarification of several points.

The Comnigcion intends to finalize this policy initiative early in the new year.
Your comnunta and suggestiona will help tha Commaigsion ensure that the policy ia
effective and convenient for evaryone concerned. Please forward any comments
you may have. If possible, it would be helpful Lf: they could ba received by the
middle of November 1994.
