GENERAL COMMENTS ON LOCAL CRIMINAL AND DRUG ACTIVITIES:

During the month of October, twenty-three perso:.> were
charged with offences under the Narcotic Control and Fouad & Drugs
Acts. Heroin is being bought outside the area, however, marihuana
and restricted drugs are being pushed from a variety of locations.

House break-ins were on the increase during October,
particularly in the Coquitlam area. There were no large business
break~ins.

There were no armed robberies or other serious offences
in the area during the month.
