Neighbourhood Plan

RECOMMENDATION: That City Council authorise the Planning
Committee to hold a ne ighbourhood
information meeting, Tuesday 28, October
7:00 untill 9:00 PM about the S$. Pitt River
Road Neighbourhood Plan. ’

COMMENTS :

The plan report is now completed and is ready for review by
City Council! and the public. The next step that is suggested
is to hold an open house session in the neighbourhood to give
residents and property owners the opportunity to review and
discuss the plan.

Land use designations contained on the plan are similar to the
Official Community Pian, but itnelude refinements due to
decisions by City Council and Ministry of Highways. The
changes in question are replacing townhouse designations. with a
single family designation along escarpment. Other changes
include redesignating properties at the Pitt River Road =-
Bypass intersection on both sides for commercial.
