Alderman Ranger spoke regarding his concerns and stated the course should be "Orientation for Prevention of Disaster Planning". Alderman Keryluk suggested that a weekend meeting be held and that it be in Vancouver. Mayor Laking and Aldermen Traboulay, Keryluk, and Mabbett advise they will attend providing the time ts convenient. From Valleyview Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary, March 7th, 1980 requesting that April 20th to 26th, 1980 be declared “National Volunteer Recognition Week" in Port Coquitlam.
