From Alderman M.R. Wright, March 14th, 1979 advising that the
Family Division Sommittee recommends that Council approve the School
District No. 43 Joint Family Division Committee's total budget of $800.00

for 1979 based on the Simon Fraser Cost Sharing Formula.

Seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That as recommended by the Family Division Committee, approval be
given to the School District No. 43 Joint Family Division Committee's

total budget of $800.00 for 1979, based on the Simon Fraser Cost Sharing

Formula.

Carried.

From Alderman M.R. Wright, March 14th, 1979 advising that the
Family Division Committee recommends that Council give approval that the
School District No. 43 Joint Family Division Committee be allowed to

spend up to an amount of $200. per time, without prior Municipal Council

approval, within the projected budget.

That as recommended by the Family Division Committee, the School
District No. 43 Joint Family Division Committee be allowed to spend up

to an amount of $200. per time, without prior Municipal Council approval,

within the projected budget.

From Alderman E.W. Mabbett, March 13th, 1979 recommending that the
City commence a energy conservation program setting aside the sum of
$3,000.00 in the budget to study heating and ventilating controls along
with program clocks, etc. and various types of insulation and double
glazing for windows and doors and that administration set up a program
over the next 2 or 3 years of upgrading City facilities in order that
the City can conserve energy and tax dollars.

That as recommended by Alderman E.W. Mabbett, March 13th, 1979
$3,000.00 for an energy conservation program for 1979 be discussed at

the next budget meeting, March 26th, 1979.

Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution discussion ensued,
