THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BYLAW NO. 2492

A Bylaw to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam
Business License Bylaw, 1973, No. 1237".

WHEREAS the Municipal Act empowers the City to provide for the Jicensing and
regulating of businesses;

AND WHEREAS the City has adopted "City of Port Cequitlam Business License
Bylaw, 1973, No. 1237";

AND WHEREAS The Municipal Council desires to amend the above mentioned bylaw;

NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. “City of Port Coquitlam License Bylaw, 1973, No. 1237" is hereby amended
by adding, after Section 8, the following seccion as Section 8A!

"8A. Every application for a license for the first time shall be
accompanied by an Inspection Form provided for that purpose in the
form prescribed by Schedule 'p'., Inspections for Fire and Building
Safety will be required as a condition of the issuance of any
Business License to carry out a business that will occupy real
property in the City.”

The Bylaw is further amended by adding, after Schedule “c”", the form
attached to this Bylaw and identified as Schedule "Dp",

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Port Coquitlam
Business License Bylaw, 1973, No. 1237, Amendment Bylaw, 1990, No. 2492."
