Res: The Old Royal Rank Building.

The old Royal Bank Building has been vacant for sane
time now and seems to be serving no useful purpose. It shold
be torn dovm as soon as possible aml the planned widening of
Elgin Avenue carried oute

Traffic has lad a bad time in this area since the
underpass was built. Travel to and from Shauchnessy street
on the west side has especially been hampered oy the very
narrow portion of Elgin Avenue at this point. It is particularly
difficult to make aright hand turn from Shancimessy to travel
west on Slgin and vehicles doinz this usually climb the curb
in front of the bank building with their back wheel, endanpering
pedestrian traffic. If there is a vehicle uaiting to erter
Shaughnessy street a right hand turn onto Elgim is pretty well .
impossible for larger vehicles. The narrow raat also causes
poor visibility when entering Elgin from the lane west af
Shaug hnessye .

Would you please proceed with demolition of this
building and widening of Elgin as-soon as possible.
