PROGRAM 82 SLUCK PARENTS ADVISORY BUDGET BREAKDOWN The program can be broken into the following categories for budgeting. Postage Printing . Envelopes (supplied RCHP) Handling (supplied volunteer) $1,100.00 100.00 TCTAL $1,200.00 Wich approximately 2000 block parents and postage at l4ยข per letter, this becomes our greatest cost. Every effort will be made to find a less costly alternative, however, at this time we expect $280.00 postage per monthly mailing. Printing is most reasonable @ $14.00 per 2000 coplee of a two sided, single sheet letter. Volunteers from the Block Parent Program will do the addressing. SUMMER JOB CORP PROGRAM - NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH Odjective( (a) To implement Neighborhood Watch in the single fanily . residences of both the City of Port Coquitla= and the District of Coquitlam. (b) To provide sn opportunity for positive and meaningful interface between youth and the cricinal justice syatem. (c) To create temporary employment fer youth who might not otherwiee have the opportunity. Description: Six summer students hired by the Solicitor General's Department will work in Liaieon with the Coquitlam R.C.M.P. to implement Neighborhood Watch in the two municipalities. The program implementation will be accomplished by the atudente visiting the homes end pereonally explaining the program and marking valuables. Funding: Bulk of funds supplied by Solicitor General's Department. $706.00 from C.P.U. Budget and rest of funding will be solicited from local service clubs.
