At the Mayor's direction, I met with Michael Savvis on Tuesday, June 5, 1990 to discuss my involvement with Greek Day. I am to be responsible for the invitations, the programme and public relations. I did, however, point out to Michael (and so advised the Mayor) that. I would not proceed with any of the items discussed until the Parks and Recreation Committee had approved or decided the City's degree of involvement. In our conversation, Michael mentioned that he would like a contribution of $ 2,500 from the City. In reviewing his files, he provided me with a copy of the 1989 Greek Day budget which I have attached, for your perusal. As mentioned to Michael, I suggested that the Mayor's office be kept informed on any developments ou. this issue. Att.
