Gayle Appleton (MSc 1999) i is the Project Consultant for the Nursing program, which will see its first 18 students admitted this fall. The program is a partnership involving UNBC, NWCC, the College of New Caledonia, and - Northern Health. Laura Gosnell (MEd 2005), meanwhile, is taking her new Master of Education and establishing a new program that will work to encourage more aboriginal people to become school teachers. The program will include offerings in math and science, English, First Nations Studies, geography, and writing.
