Sunday. This annual fall fair event

‘is put on by the 4-H Boots’n
_ Saddles Club’s 8 members, ranging

in age from 9 to 19. Some of the
parents are helping to move jumps,
set up races and perform other
assorted tasks. Volunteers and
donations would still be much

Classes will begin on Saturday
morning with the Hunter Division,

followed by Jumper Division,

Dressage Division, English Divi-
sion and ending with Ride-a-buck.

’ This event involves a horse ridden

bareback, with the rider to hold

one buck (dollar bill) between the
horse:‘and him/herself and perform

as the judge requests. The one who
still has the buck at the end of the
performance wins.

completed by 10 a.m. will move to
the smaller ring north of the main
ring to continue their competitions.

At 10:30, registrations for the
Totem Saddle Club’s annual Gym-
khana will commence. The Gym-

khana itself will commence at 11

am. with seven major events —
figure and stake races, flag pick-
ing, pole bending, scurries, trotting
races, gymkhana quarter-mile horse
and pony race, open half-mile
horse race and high-point awards
to follow the open half-mile horse
race.

The Heavy Horse Pull is sched-

uled for 3 p.m. on Sunday in the
