Hall on Tuesday evening for W. T. and Mrs. At- wood was attended by a large crowd, und the evening was spent pleasantly in dancing. At intervals concert numbers were given, in the form of vocal solos hy Mrs. de Kergommeaux and T, Halliwell, and a violin and hary duet by S, Kirkaldy and R. Donald. At midnight an excel- lent lunch was served by the ladies. The dance music was supplied by Mrs. Atwood, Wm, Sparkes, and L. H. Kenney. House Was Burried Mr. and Mrs, W. T. Atwood’s home was completely destroyed February 5. ‘Mr. Atwood dis- covered the blaze when it was too late to save the building, and in spite of the ready assistance and valiant efforts of several neigh- bors, none of the contents were saved.
