SUBJECT: Equipment Replacement Purchase - Backhoe

Tenders have been received for the replacement of one Public Works backhoe,
unit no. 2022, as presented to City Council on Monday, January 20, 1992.

Six equipment suppliers submitted prices of which Coast Tractor of Coquitlam
(Join Deere 310) has provided the lowest price meeting the preferred specifications at
$61,754.50.

Would you kindly review the attached package recommendations from the

Purchasing Manager and request the approval to proceed with the purchase of the
replacement backhoe.
