Office Accommodation In late 1979, as a result of the need for extra office accommodation to house R.C.M.P. personnel, the District, in conjunction with the City of Porr Coquitlam, located a trailer adjacent to the Justice Building on Christmas Way. It would be prudent, in my opinion, to not leave the trailer in its present location because of possible vandalism and: I believe, therefore, that it should be removed at the earlieat possible date. ; T have requested, and recoivad, a report from the Purchaging Agent which. indicates that the market value of tha trailar would be. between $18,500 and $19,000, depending upon market conditions at the time it is offered for sale. At the moment, with the current economic slump in the construction industry, there is little damand for such a facility for contractors’ temporary use and apparently there is at present an abundance of unsold construction type trailers on the market. T am of the opinion that, regardless of what the market appears to be. like, we will only be able to deter- mine if a market oxists by attempting to sell the facility “and to do 20 SY placing the trailer out for bid.
