Cause of the television fire was an electric short. Cause of the car fire was also an electric short burning reeulted in the motor compartment. We had two calls to the hydro poles. One a tree fell across wires causing them to arc spreading hot embers to the ground. The other was an electric pole switch shorting causing a srail fire on the pole. All the bush fires were caused by children playing with matches. An overheated electric element in an apartment caused when the thermostat control malfunctioned. The departwent was called to extinguish a human body when a man committed suicide by burnuins himeelf, 23 inhalater calls: a call to the srorts centre to attend a heckey player who wag hit in the throat with a pucke An industrial accident where a man had a badly crushed hand. Five motor vehicle accidents; three involved cargé, ore &@ car hit-.a man on a motorcycle and one where a young girl was hit by a car.
