The pipeline would transport about 100,000 barrels per day of condensate from a marine terminal at Kitimat. to Summit Lake where it would connéct with Pembina’s existing ~ Western Pipeline System. From there the condensate will be trans- ported along sections of the existing Pembina pipeline network ‘to Edmonton. Pembina is planning to construct four new pump stations: along the proposed pipeline. Condensate is’ a light petroleum liquid used to dilute bitumen and heavy oil so 7 can. be transported through a pipeline.
