A10 - The Terrace Standard, Wednesday, September 27, 2000 Jail for bomb threat A TERRACE youth will appear in court this December for her role in a bomb threat at Thornhill Junior Secondary School last May. The youth was released into the care of a parent Sept, 18, after a court appear- ance. She had been in custody on anather matter. Her trial date is Dec. 5. A second youth has been sentenced to 14 days in jail and 18 months probation for her role in the May 5 incident. The youth pleaded guilty in Terrace provincial court Sept. 7 to one count of conveying a false message. She has also been ordered tn complete 60 hours of community service upan her release. Meantime, School District 82 Superin- tendent Herb Fader wouldn’t comment on the nature of any possible disciplinary ac- tion ongoing against the students or the others involved in a series of bomb threats this spring. “They realize they've made a mistake,” he said, “This was a very ser- ious issue.
