The Director of Planning be instructed to proceed with the
preparation of the appropriate bylaw to implement the amendments to
the Official Commmity Plan approved in principle by the Mmicipal
Council and reflecting the comments received at the Riverwood Public
Information Meeting of April 25, 1990;

The Director of Planning be instructed to proceed with the
development of the draft Rivervood Area Control Plan, with
consideration to the comments received at the Riverwood Public
Information Meeting of April 25, 1990 and the results of the atudy
being prepared by Urbar Systems, when they become available; and

Council receive the att:ached informal minutes of the Riverwood Public
Information Meeting of April 25, 1990, for information.

BACKGROUND:

A Public Information Meeting on the proposed Official Community Plan
amendment affecting the Riverwood Area was held on April 25, 1990. The
Riverwood Area Control Plan was also discussed at the meeting.

Approximately 250 citizens participated in the meeting and 11 citizens
provided written comments after the meeting.

Attached to this report there is a set of informal minutes taken at the
Riverwood Public Information Meeting.

A questionnaire was distributed at the Public Information Meeting
requesting comments on the proposed amendments to the Official Community Plan
and the Area Control Plan. Eleven responses were received, which are
summarized below.
