(1) A Party shall forthwith notify all other Parties if it executes
any Agreement to provide emergency resources to any other body
not being a Party to this Agreement.

(2) Subsection (1) does nvt apply to any agreement in force between
the City of Vancouver and Her Majesty The Queen, as represented

by the Minister of Lands,

of British Columbia,

Parks and Housing and the University

All existing agreements for the Vancouver Fire Boat shal? remain
fa force, unless cancelled by agreement. The Vancouver Fire Boat
is not included as part of the emergency resources of Zone Four (4).

8, Every Party requesting or accepting emergency resources under this
Agreement shal? be responsible for and indemnify the Party that provided the
emergency resources from and against a? Claims, demands, loss, costs, damages,
actions, suits, or other Proceedings by whomsoever made, brought or prosecuted

_ 1m any manner based upon, occasioned by or attributable to any action taken or
thing done or maintained by virtue or in consequence thereof and a1] such claims,
demands, suits or actions shall be recoverable as a debt due to it from the other,

9, Notwithstanding Clause 8, no Party shall be responsible for or in any way
Hiabie with respect to any claims, demands, loss, costs, damages, actions, suits

or other proceedings arising from or through the neyligence of another Party,

its agents, servants or employees,

10, Notices or other communications under this Agreement shall be
sufficiently given if delivered to a Chief Fire Official Personally or left
at the Chief Fire Official's office or mailed to the following:
