Voting The President or, in his/her absence, the Vice-President will chair the Advisory Board meetings. The Chair will not have any voting power except in the advent of a tie. The Co-ordinator is responsible to act as a scrutineer with an appointed member assisting. . The Advisory Board may recommend to the Senior Citizens Co-ordinator, Subject to a two-thirds majority vote of the Advisory Board, the termination of an Advisory Board member or a general membership menber for just cause. Notwithstanding the above, Roberts Rules of Order shal] prevail. HEMBERSHIP All senior/retired adults participating in “POCO SENIOR CENTRE" Activities Gr programs are required to become members on or before their third visit. Nembership is open to all senior/retired adults. Residents of Port Coquitiam will pay an annual membership fee of $3.00 and non-residents will pay $5.00 as ratified by Council. Membership sales commence in danuary for that year and membership must be taken out on or before a Senior's third visit. Each member shal] have one (1) vote ut meetings of the general membership, . FACILITY USE Priority of Use . That first priority of use for this facility be given to the "POCO SENIOR CENTRE” under the direction of the Advisory Board and the Port Coquitlam Recreation Department and that, secondly, 0.A.P.0. Branch #21, Port Coquitlam, be given the use of this facility for their regular monthly meetings which take place on the second Thursday of each month, third, other related senior citizens groups within Port Coquitlam. CONSTITUTIGNAL CHANGES This Constitution may be reviewed and changed after six months from its effective date in writing and thereafter in June of each year commencing in 1980, at the discretion of the Advisory Comittee or Recreation Director.
