That the request by Camrose Development Ltd. for a burning permit
for the property at 1775 Lougheed Highway be tabled until the next
Ceuncil meeting on May 29th, 19783

THAT a joint meeting be held on May 23rd, 1978 at 4:00 p.m. with
the Environmental Protection Committee and the Building and Protection
Committee to discuss the matter of burning permits and a report be
brought back to Council;

AND THAT all developers intending to use burning as a method of
getting rid of debris be invited to the Committee meeting.

From the Planning and Zoning Committee, May 10th, 1978 advising of
their recommendations regarding the application to rezone properties on
Prairie Avenue, Toronto Street and Stratford Street from RS-2 to RS-1
described as Lots 1-7 and 16-22, Northwest 1/2, Section 6, Township 40,
Plan 2324 and East 117 feet, Block 15, Township 40, Plan 7086.

That as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Committee, May 10th,
1978 the application to rezone properties on Prairie Avenue, Toronto
Street and Stratford Street described as Lots 1-7 and 16-22, Northwest
1/2, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 2324 and East 117 feet, Block 15,
Township 40, Plan 7086 from RS-2 (One Family Suburban Residential) to
RS-1 (One Family Residential) proceed to Public Hearing.

Officer gave a brief explanation of the proposed development.

Committee for their comments on the question of road cancellation.
