March 16, 1992/0706 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, March 16th, 1992, at 7330 PeM. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Aldermen M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, RoH. Talbot, M.A. Thompson and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City Engineer I. JZahynacz, and Director of Planning C.R. Felip. Alderman J.J. Keryluk, as Acting Mayor in the absence of Mayor Traboulay, called the meeting to order. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES Moved by Alderman Thompson: Seconded by Alderman Gates; That the minutes of the Regular Council meeting held on March 9th, 1992 and Special Meeting of March 11th, 1992 be taken as read and adopted. Keryluk introduced Karen LaGrange of Mary Hill Junior Secondary School who addressed Council protesting the changing of the speed limit on Mary Hill Road from 50 km/h to 60 km/h and presented Council with a 179 name petition. | |
