SUBJECT: Wheelchair Spaces for Legion Parking -
Works and Services Committee, April 3rd, 1984

RECOMMENDATION:

That the two east end spaces in the centrai aisle of the
north parking lot adjacent to the new Legion buliding be
designated for handicapped parking only and the Bylaw be amended

accordingly.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

the Legion members are required to make use of wheelchairs tn
getting around. At present the south parking lot has two
handicapped stalls but these are some distance from the Legion
pbuilding and would require the wheelchairs to travel along the
