Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution Alderman Gates suggested it be deferred until: the Environmental Protection Committee had presented its report on spraying generally in the. City. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That the purchase of a portable sprayer be deferred until the Environmental Protection Committee has presented its report regarding spraying generally in the City. Aldermen Muldoon and Gates voted in favour of the resolution. From the Planning and Zoning Committee, June 4th, 1981 being a Rezoning Application Status Report. From the Public Works Committee, June 4th, 1981 regarding watermain requirements for Canadian Forest Products’ proposed development at Coast Meridian and the Mary Hill Bypass. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, June 4th, 1981 the City agree to pay one-half of the cost, upon completion, of the watermain construction required for Canadian Forest Products’ proposed development at Coast Meridian and the Mary Hill Bypass, as outlined in the report, and to repay the remainder of the cost within one year of that date with no interest charges. From the Public Works Committee, June 4th, 1981 recommending that a lane not be required to be constructed as part of the proposed development at 2612-2640 Mary Hill Road. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended by the Public Works Committee, June 4th, 1981 a lane not be required to be constructed as part of the proposed development at 2612-2640 Mary Hill Road. Alderman Muldoon voted against the resolution.
