January 26th, 1976 A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B. C., on January 26th, 1976, at 7:30 p.m. Acting~Mayor Alderman G.R. Laking, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, E.W. Mabbett, P.F, Ranger, M.A. Thompson, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, Assistant City Engineer L. Melnechenko, City Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Recreation Director Janna Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent G. Ulmer, and Mrs. B.M. Aalten. Prior to commencement of the Public Hearing, the City Administrator introduced the newly-appointed Assistant City Engineer, Mr. L. Melnechenko, to those in attendance at the meeting and Acting-Mayor Alderman Laking then welcomed him to the staff of the City Hall. Zoning Public Hearing-B/law #1413 ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: Acting-Mayor Alderman Laking advised the meeting the following proposed By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1969, No. 918" would now be considered: By~law No. 1413: to rezone Lots 30, 31, and 32, Block 13, South-west Quarter Section 7, Township 40, Plan 2797, New Westminster District, from RS-2 (One-Family Suburban Residential) to RS-1 (One—Family Residential). This property is located at the intersection of Victoria Drive and Ulster Street and has the civic address of 3873 Ulster Street. Following completion of the rezoning procedures it is expected that the three lots now existing will be consolidated and re-subdivided into two building sites and thet a residence will be constructed on each site. No one was present: in opposition to the foregoing proposed Zoning By~law Amendment. The developer, Mr. Frank Apel, was in attendance and stated that he had nothing to comment on except that he would like to proceed with the project.
