Freeman City Clerk ' Dear Sirss Re: Westwood Street and Woodland Drive Traffic Aqreement , - We have your letter of August 16th, We have perused . By-laws No, 1090 and 1193 and the agreement with the District of Coquitlam, : oo In our opinion, the answers to the questions raised in your letter are as follows: 7 ° lL. The effective starting date of the four month time limit contained in By-law No. 1193 was July 3rd, 1972. The by-law will therefore expire on November 2nd, 1972. 2. The reinstatement of the previous traffic regulations by new by-laws (or otherwise) upon Westwood Street and Woodland Drive may now be impossible. The agreement betwean the City and the District of Coquitl specifies, that the City will not adopt any by-law imposing waight restrictions upon Westwood Street, without the agreement of the District. Section 537 of the Municipal Act, provides that no Municipality can regulate a boundary line highway, without the adoption of a mutually acceptable by-law by the adjoining Munici- pality.
