Crowded competition | ‘in Kitsumkalum youth giant slalom Pepsi Challenge ski races for youngsters aged 11 to 17 in giant slalom events took place at Kit- sumkalum --Mountain on the February 20 weekend. More than 75 skiers from the host club, Prince George, Smithers and Quesnel took part in the two-day, four-run series, They were split into boys and girls groups of 11 and 12 (J-3), 13 and 14 (J-2), and 15 to 17 (J-1). Each skier had two runs Saturday and two more on Sun- day. Medal winners for Saturday were as follows in order of gold, silver and bronze. - J-3 boys — Mitch Hunter, Pr.
