SUBJECT: Parking Restrictions on Dominion Avenue
east of Burns Road
(Public Works Committee Meeting September 6, 1988)

Recommendation:

That the Traffic Regulations Bylaw be amended to include
the following parking restrictions:

"No parking on both sides of Dominion Avenue east of Burns
Road between the hours of 11:00 pem and 5:00 a.m."

Background and Comments:

The residents on Dominion Avenue east of Burns Road
submitted a request to Alderman Keryluk to impose some form of
parking restrictions on this section of Dominion Avenue. The
reason for their request is to prevent the disturbance of peace
caused by tnose who park their vehicles on this section of
Dominion between late hours in the evening and early hours In

the morninge

The Traffic Sub-Committee considered this request and
agreed that the most effective means of solving this problem is
to impose the parking restrictions stated in the recommendation
and have these restrictions enforced as necessary.
