THAT WHEREAS Port Coquitlam City Council! has endorsed a proposal for
a mutual and verifiable freeze on the production, testing and deployment
of nuclear weapons and thelr dellvery systems; |

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Port Coquitlam City Council!
declare the municipality of Port Coquittam to be a nuclear weapons free
zone, and that any manufacture, storage, transportation or distribution
of such weapons or their components be banned within the boundaries of
the municipality.
