In conversations with the CVRD the following wording has been proposed as a form of
resolution:

WHEREAS the Municipality has previously endorsed the economic development work
of the Coquitlam Chamber of Commerce;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Council agree to contribute to the Chamber's pro-
gram the data resources and economic development assistance of the GVRD Deve? -
opment Services Department on the same basis as if the service provided directly

to the Municipality.

We would ask that this matter be put before Council at its next meeting. We look forward
to this exciting project providing a positive influence on the economic development in
District 43 and thank you for your attention to this matter.
