Freeman, City Clerk Re: Proposed Purchase of Lot A, Plan 5943 ~ Lougheed Highway and Shaughnessy Street Intersection Council will recall that in Committee on November 10th, 1975 the administration was instructed to proceed with the purchase of the above noted property at the rate of $1.45 per square foot. It was not possible to present the hecessary formal resolution to the Council until the exact size of the property had been determined and this has now been done, SAT cas nem et a ep fot ed cane fhe necessary documents have been drawn and are in the hands of ‘our solicitor awaiting a transfer of funds from the City. Might we suggest that Council give consideration to passage of the following resolution: "That Lot A, Block 5, District Lot 464, Group 1, Plan 5943, New Westminster District be purchased by the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam at or for the price of Eight-eight Thousand Four Hundred Twenty- six Dollars and Eighty Cents (calculated at the rate of $1.45 per square foot for an area of 60,984 square feet); 1 ADs So erences enamine ent ea tena enn AND THAT the Mayor, City Clerk, and City Treasurer be authorized to sign all necessary documents and cheques on behalf of the City and to affix the Corporate seal thereto." . tee, R.A.
