Dear Larry: Re ~- PoCo House I visited PoCo House at your request, to see if the premises would be suitable for Nursery School use during the day-time, to supplement the present use as a drop-in centre. Available space on the lower floor is approximately 612 square feet plus a certain amount of storage space, and room for a second toilet to be added. Two hand basins would be required which could cause a problem. There isa fenced yard. In my opinion this space would be adequate for a Nursery School of /12,- 15 children, if the organizers were willing to work closely with the existing group, and planned their equipment to fit into the rather limited space. It would be essential to involve the Drop-in kids in the project, to avoid damage to equipment, graffite etc. Likewise the pool table would have to be protected from the pre«school ‘children. In summary this space could be used for a Nursery School, if the organ~ izers were desperate for space, and willing to work with the Drop~in Centrs. It would not be suitable for Day Care because it is not avail- able in the late afternoon. Yours sincerely, hang Mary C.
