AON Freee i ae nan ee. MEMORANDUM 205 K.J. Stinson, Planning Officer DATE: June 27th, 1973 V.Ge Borch, P. Eng. . GeSs Would you pleasa have the following items placed on the Planning & Zoning Committee neeting agenda Wednesday, July 4th, 1973. lL. Western Realty Land = Prairie Road & Coast Meridian i, Further to Ian Birtweill's letter of June 15th, 1973, I would like to report on subsequent telephone conversations with Birtwell, 2. The matter of the subdivision freeze on the north side should be discussed as a result of receiving recent information from School District No. 43. I believe Council is awaiting a recommendation from the Committee. 3. Mr. Ron Peterson has made apylication to take out building permits to construct residences on Lots 4:~ 10 inclusive, Perth Street. Perth Street is unopened and no services are available. Mr. Peterson has indicated that he fs prepared to construct the road and provide all services at his expense. Because of the undesirability of seven more developed 33 foot lots in a row and the undesirabiliry of the resulting double fronting situation, I have indicated to Mr. Peterson that I would recommend strongly to Council chat Perth Street not be opened. I did suggest, however, that I would take thic problem to the Planning & Zoning Committee to see if there is any possibility of considering combining his Lota with City owned property and possibly closed portions of road to permit the development of condominium type residences under Land Use Contract. VGB/ ww City Engineer.
