Northern B.C. NFPA is the largest lumber producing assoctation
in Canada and represents its members in the areas of forestry,
quality control, community relations, aboriginal affairs,
occupational safety & health, market access & trade and

Reporting to the Ganeral Manager, Forestry end Aboriginal
Affairs, the successful candidate for this newly created position
will work closely with senior forest industry staff in the north to
rapresent the association on varlous committees and to
government and community groups in land and resource
matters relating to forestry and aboriginal affairs Issues.
Specific areas of responsibility will include representation on
issues Involving the Forest Practices Cade, Timber Supply
Reviews, Appralsals, Forest Renewal 8.C., treaty negotiations,

Agreements. Some travel will be required.
Desirable qualifications include university gradualion with a
