nual review earlier this month.

Major Astles, a wing trans-
portation officer stationed at
Comox, was in Terrace to con-
duct the inspection,

The 747 Unicorn Squadron
first began in 1963 with 75
male cadets. Since 1976, fe-
males have been added to the
ranks,

imately 40 cadets today and
parades at the cadet hall lo-
cated at the Terrace airport,

A number of awards were
handed out, following the
march and demonstrations.

Matthew Mejier won Best
Uniform and Esprit de Comps.
He also picked up honours for
best attendance and NCO of
the Year.

Mark Mejier also acquitted
himself well. He was

honoured with Best Uniform
and Best Attendance awards.

Cadet of the Year was Tyler
Davis. He also picked up the
Commanding Officer’s
Award.

Most Improved Cadet was

Sarah Brown and Best First
Year Cadet was Jason Broom.
Mandy Cambell also picked
up honours for Best At-
tendance.
