I have devised a Top Ten list of
ways in which people in Terrace
can become politically incorrect
in light of the politically correct
revisionism going on throughout
western civilization today.

10, Invite Rush Limbaugh to
write a letier to the Terrace Stan-
dard debunking Bill Burgess for
his fantastical attack on Bill

9, Tell voters that since the col-
lapse of communism in the for-
mer Soviel Union the NDP have
become Canada’s leading fascist
political party. .

8 Explain the Canadians that
the only way to eliminate the
deficit without tampering with so-
cial safety nets is to eliminate
funding to the National Film

Board, women’s activist and gay
organizalions, and other special
interest *‘thicves and bums’’.

7. Start a ‘Draft Bill Vander
Zalm”’ movement for premier of
B.C. as leader of the NDP to in-
crease. the parly’s popularity
provincially.

6. Promote a ban on European.

immigrants who will take jobs

Drivers need an education

Dear Sir;

When are certain drivers in this
town going io leam two basic
rules of driving.

1, Left hand tums are made
from the left hand lane to the left
hand lane, not left lane to right
lane.

2. Right hand turns are made
from the right hand Iane to the
right hand lane, not right lane to
left lane.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it? First
you make your tum properly,
then you signal and change lanes
when it is safe to do 90.

forth across the intersection of

Our hospital is closing a large
number of beds cach year and yet
an enormous amount of money is
going to a bigger Liquor store,
Does this make sense?

I feel very discouraged that
there is such a break down in
families and the things that are
good, moral and right are dis-
regarded and classified as
unimportant.

With the growing number of
problems in or world with alcohol
related illness, .and crimes, is
building a bigger establishment
that sells and promotes alcohol a
positive responsible action?

businessman that the lefl lane was
mine and the right lane was his.

‘He gave me a dumb-founded
look then, just as I had
anticipated, finished’ his right
hand turn into my left hand ane.

If I wasn’t a defensive driver,
there would have been a collision.

And why don’t the police crack
down on these lousy drivers?
They are commonly seen stand-
ing near that intersection trying to
catch people not wearing a scat
belt.

If they would start ticketing
some of these drivers who make
illegal turns there would be a lot
fewer accidents in intersections
and less need for seat belts,

I haven’t had a car accident in
over 20 years, and I am tired of
paying high insurance rates be-
cause others don’t know how to
drive!
