Sam Bawlf, Minister of Recreation and Conservation, said, ‘A random selection of steelhead licence holders throughout the province is requested to supply information on where and when and how long they fished, as well as their success in different areas.” Steelheaders are asked to return the questionnaire even though they may have been unsuccessful or may not have actually fished. The information received from the survey will be extremely important to the future planning of the management, protection and ‘enhancement of steelheading in this province.
