D.E.S. et son Doctorat de 3*"* cycle. Elle a enseigné la littérature 4 1’ Université de
Montréal et l’Université McGill. En 1981, elle déménagea 4 Victoria ot elle travailla a
l'Université de Victoria jusqu’en 1989. Elle a aussi animé des émissions 4 la télévision pour
les communautés vietnamienne et francaise. Two Shores/Deux rives est son premier recueil
de poésie. Elle travaille actuellement sur |’histoire de sa famille au Vietnam.

Tt Vuong-Riddick est née 4 Hanoi en 1940. Elle s’installa 4 Saigon ot elle obtint

moved to Saigon and obtained her B.A. in French Litterature, but was soon caught

up in the war of political factions. She travelled to Paris in 1962.There, she got a
second B.A., an M.A. and her Doctorate. She has taught French in both Saigon and Paris. In
1969 she emigrated to Canada where she taught literature at the University of Montreal and
at McGill University. In 1981, she moved to Victoria (BC) where she taught at the University
of Victoria until 1989. She has also worked in television, specializing in programs for the
Vietnamese and French communities.
