The Petition of tha City of Port Coquitlam HUMBLY SHOWETH That the Municipal Council of cha Corporation of the Clty of Port Coquitiam has by Bylaw No. 2641 cited as the "Morgan Avenue (1700 Block) Road Closure Bylaw, 1992, No. 2641” stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of road therein deacribed; That the said Bylaw No. 2641 of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam waa reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlas om the 10th day of February, 1992 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; That the regiatered owner of ona of two parcala of land adjoining and contiguous has consented to the closure of the said portion of road deacribed in Bylaw No. 2641; 3. ‘That the regiatered ownere of the only other parcel of land chat is adjoining and contiguous, Clarence Albert Pekrul and Pearl Angeline Pekrul, 1744 Morgan Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C., V3C 1LJ7, have agreed to accept title to the portion ef read described in Bylew No. 2641 and have thereby consented to the clesure of the said portion of road; That the portion of road deseribed in the said Bylaw No. 2641 is aurplus to the needa of the City in that location and the aaid Morgan Avenue will remain of adequate width for the passage of traffie and it ia the desire of the Council of the City that title to the portion of road deseribed in the said Bylaw No. 2641 be vested in the adjoining ownera aforesaid, Clarence Albert Pekrul and Pearl Angeline Pekrul, 1744 Morgana Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C., V3G 137, who wili pay the City at the rate of $44.67 m* ($4.15. aq. ft.) -~ a total of $3471.00 - as thea value of the land comprising the said portion of road and have borne all suzvey costa; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly praye for the abandonment of the said portion of road described in Bylaw No. 2641 of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of the title of the land comprising same in Clarence Albert Pekrul and Pearl Angeline Pekrul, 1744 Morgan Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C., V3C 1J7; . | AND your Petitioner as in duty bound will ever pray, etc. aa dated at Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, this llth day of February, 1992.
